A new day, a new hour
Hath begun to take form
How time doth fly
How swift the storm
What wonders to behold
When dawn doth break
To gaze upon sweet memories
Of new ones to make
How bittersweet the moment
Away from thee on this New Year’s Day
Yet rejoice doth we, when knowing and pray
That a family as we can never truly be apart
